It looks like toys have once again unlocked some of the biggest secrets from Michael Bay's Transformers 4.

The Transformers: Age of Extinction trailer certainly asked a lot of questions, and finally we've got some potential answers to some of these. If these Construct-Bot merchandise are anything to go by, it seems Transformers riding Dinbots is a major element of Transformers 4.

The toys come in two varieties: Dinobot Riders and simple Dinobots. Included in the Dinobot Riders contingent is Optimus Prime, Lockdown, Bumblebee and Drift. We've already seen Optimus Prime riding Grimlock in the Super Bowl trailer, but these toys suggest the other autobots could saddle up too. Take a look below:

The Dinobot toys also elucidate some of the more mysterious elements of the trailer. Take for example that two-headed dragon type Transformer we saw. In the trailer it was difficult to tell whether it was saving or attacking Bumblebee, with the internet speculating it could be an altered Swoop or the two-headed autobot, Double Cross. However, the merchandise reveals it is a new Dinobot, named Strafe. Now, Strafe is a name already used by an airborne Autobot, but it seems like it was simply commandeered to refer to this new two-headed variant of Swoop.

It also seems like the triceratops Dinobot, Slag, has undergone a slight change. He's now called Slug, a name which was previously reserved for him in the UK and Commonwealth countries where the word 'slag' means something rather different.

Oh, and one last thing. Here's a new promo picture of Optimus Prime riding Grimlock into battle. Just because, why the hell not?
