Vikings is adding more men to its crew for Season 2.

The History Channel drama series has signed up two new actors for the second season - The Hunger Games' and Law & Order's .

You might remember Ludwig as District 2's nefarious Cato from The Hunger Games and he's signed on to play Bjorn, the intelligent warrior son of Ragnar Lothbrok ().

Roache AKA ADA Michael Cutter will play Ecbert, King of Wessex, who is described as being full of 'undisguised ambition' - intriguing!

Perhaps the real highlight of this story is both actors' previous work. Inhabitants of Knifecrime Island will be delighted to discover Roache used to play Peter Barlow from 1973-1975 on best-Brit-soap-ever Coronation Street, while Disney fans may remember Ludwig as Seth from 2009's science fiction thriller Race to Witch Mountain.

And guys, if you're missing Games of Thrones already (guilty as charged), Vikings may just fill that special place in your heart, at least until the next series, since it's basically just Game of Thrones minus dragons and with more eyeliner thrown in - delicious!

Haven't seen it before? Feast your eyes on the trailer below for Season 1 (sadly no trailer yet for Season 2):
