This article contains spoilers from The Walking Dead Season 7.
#TheWalkingDead may be the most popular show on TV right now, but the hit AMC series just can't seem to catch a break. The post apocalyptic drama has come under fire during its seventh season for various reasons — from continuity errors to poor CGI, the eagle-eyed viewers have noticed everything wrong there is to notice.
Sunday's episode was a topic of online discussion primarily because of Jesus revealing his sexuality, but there was one other scene that grabbed social media users' attention. Watch it below to see if you can scope anything out:
After Rosita and Sasha set off on their mission to kill Negan, the two survivors found themselves in an abadoned warehouse, spying on the Saviors. Both women took turns with the rifle, peering through the scope to survey the Sanctuary, hoping for a clean shot at Negan.
However, it's no wonder that the women failed in getting a clean shot — it must've been pretty hard to see when the lens cap was still on the scope. Yeah, that actually happened.
Unlike Sasha and Rosita, the internet saw right through this error, as #TWD viewers took to social media to voice their opinions on the mistake — as you can imagine, they weren't impressed. Let's take a look at some of the best online reactions:
As great as The Walking Dead is, the show has been plagued a lot of errors as of late, and some would argue that they are beginning to interfere with the storyline. Although none of the missteps have been quite as noticeable as the CGI deer, it does lead us to question if there has been one too many mistakes made during #TheWalkingDeadSeason7 to forgive?
Of course, the answer is no — after seven years the post-apocalyptic drama is still one of the most adored shows on television, and it isn't going anywhere. That's easy to see, even if you are peering at a lens cap.
The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9/8c on AMC.
