The Walking Dead has been going from strength to strength and while in the midst of its fourth season, the team are bracing themselves for the onslaught of a fifth season and highly anticipated spin-off series. But that's not all of it.

IBTimes have shared that:

A post on Acting-Auditions.org reveals that the series will begin casting for new regulars, recurring roles and guest stars for season 5. Actors looking to be cast in the series must be eligible to work in Atlanta and are suggested to submit the following in a 9"x12" clear full-face window envelope.

All you need is a color headshot- don't worry, it's a photograph, not a zombie style gun-slinging one.

AMC president Charlie Collier said (via IBT):

We are very happy to make what has to be one of the most anticlimactic renewal announcements ever: The Walking Dead is renewed for a fifth season. This is a show that has erased traditional distinctions between cable and broadcast. Its expanding base of passionate fans has grown every season, most recently -- and most notably -- with the season 4 premiere earlier this month, which broke viewership records for the series and became the biggest nonsports telecast in cable history. On behalf of the incredible team on both sides of the camera, thank you to the fans and here’s to more 'Dead'.

You lucky zombie lovers, not only do you get another series but you actually get the opportunity to be in the record breaking programme and furthermore, there will also be a spin-off series that will premiere in 2015.

Its helmer, has mentioned before, that the upcoming series

Isn’t tethered by the events of the comic book, and is truly a blank page.

So what do you think? Will you be getting involved in the Walking Dead fest? Or will you be content with over indulging on season 5 and a spin-off series?
