A few weeks ago Kurt Sutter dreamed up the ultimate Sons of Anarchy/The Walking Dead mashup in "The Riding Dead," but now Greg Nicotero has revealed another fandom collision that blends two ultimate villains into one!

executive producer recently posted an image by artist Robert Shane that merges together Walking Dead Big Bad Negan with Star Wars villain Darth Vader.

Vader has donned Negan's red bandana, and chosen to back up his Force choke with Lucille. Meanwhile in the background it looks like the Saviors have been replaced by Storm Troopers, and two resistance fighters kneel before him in place of our survivors:

While Darth Vader is a obviously a stronger villain than Negan could ever hope to be, there is something menacing to be said for Vader forcing the fighters to kneel before him like Negan did with the survivors.

But aside from being an awesome mashup, the Walking Dead-infused Star Wars image actually pairs up with how Nicotero's fellow executive producer, Tom Luse, has been describing the next eight episodes of Season 7. "This is the Rebel Alliance fighting back against the Empire," said Luse. "We all want that coming together of all these great characters, for them to see each other and realize that they as a group are strong because of the love and respect they show to each other. They know what that means and that gives them strength as well."

The Walking Dead returns to AMC with Episode 9 on February 12
