Most inappropriate movie-tie in ever? Lionsgate, the studio behind international smash-hit The Hunger Games and online fashion store NET-A-PORTER, who sell fancy clothes for fancy-person prices, today announced an exclusive fashion partnership for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the second installment in the Hunger Games series.

The luxury clothing line 'Capitol Couture by Trish Summerville' will consist of 16 'pieces' (fashion speak for garments) as well as jewelry and leather goods inspired by the upcoming dystopian action flick. You'll only be able to buy it on NET-A-PORTER this fall in time for the film's release on Nov 22, 2013, meaning you'll be able to go and sit in cinemas in clothing that only Capitol-dwellers would be able to afford and watch the tributes get made to look super pretty and trendy to appeal to viewers before they're killed.

I dunno, this seems kinda missing the whole point of the film to me. No?
