I know Lando Calrissian isn't exactly a normal name, but if news readers are expected to correctly pronounce names of world leaders like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Li Keqiang, you think they'd be able to handle it without too much trouble.

However, the relatively simple sci-fi name apparently proved too much for Salt Lake City's KUTV news anchors. Actor Billy Dee Williams recently appeared at the city's Comic Con convention to meet fans. In the space of a 47 second segment, both anchors manage to mess up both his actual name and that of his character. Check out the video below to see what I mean:

If that's not enough, the text description which accompanied the video also named the famous Star Wars character as 'Lando Calrisson'. This might not be important to many people, but this is the kind of stuff which makes die-hard Star Wars fans form pictchfork and torch-wielding mobs.

In their defense, the news presenters may have simply been reading an incorrect teleprompter (it's certainly caused similar problems in the past), but I mean, c'mon, have they not seen Star Wars or something?

Rumors suggest a whole host of former Star Wars favorites will be returning for Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens. Do you want Lando to join the party too?
