Hey, you know those times when you just sit around idly flicking through the internet? Hell, perhaps that's how you found your way to this page in the first place. The first one is an hour long PBS documentary titled American Masters. The documentary, originally shot in 1990, is an elucidating window back into Scorsese's earlier career and was filmed just before his ground-breaking gangster flick, Goodfellas, hit theaters. American Masters shows a whole heap of rare behind-the-scenes footage from both Goodfellas and the rest of Scorsese's back catalog and even features some interviews from the likes of , and .

Once you've watched that, why not check out another 50 minute interview in which Scorsese sits down with another legendary director, . This interview, which IndieWire describes as a 'must watch', was filmed in 1997 and is hosted by Geoffrey Gilmore, the then director of the Sundance Film Festival. The two masterminds chat movies, the industry and how the studio system was beginning to change all of Hollywood. It's not often you get to see such experts interacting, so make sure you don't miss it.
