This year's adaptation of the timeless 1925 F. Scott Fitzgerald classic, The Great Gatsby, is hitting British stores in its DVD and Blu-ray release next week. As usual, the set includes all sorts of extras, among which are a few deleted scenes that were axed in post-production for the film's final cut.

Today we bring you one of those scenes, an idle exchange between main characters Nick Carraway (played by ) and Jay Gatsby (). In it, Nick makes the following observation about his married cousin Daisy Buchanan's feelings for Gatsby:

She loves you. Her voice is full of it.

To which Gatsby, after a long pause, somberly answers:

No. Her voice is... full of money.

The Great Gatsby was released on DVD and Blu-ray in the United States on August 27th, and exactly a month later in Australia. It comes out in the UK on November 11th.
