One of the things I love most about ' martial arts masterpiece The Raid is that it barely gives the audience a moment to catch its breath from the previous insane action sequence before it's slamming them into the next.

From what we know of the upcoming sequel The Raid 2: Berendal, which is set to premiere at Sundance, that pacing is not due to let up. The Raid 2 takes place literally two hours after the first film. As if that weren't enough, according to indieWIRE, Evans is now saying that The Raid 3 will take place two hours BEFORE The Raid 2. That means it starts the instant that The Raid ends.

Evans will purportedly make an English-language film between The Raid 2 and The Raid 3, but that may be as much of a repose as we get from the unyielding mayhem of this franchise. I'm champing at the bit to see The Raid 2, and I hope The Raid 3 is not just some passing fancy of Evans' but instead something he indeed gets off the ground.

What do you guys think?
