After hangs up his special agent badge and retires to a life of non action roles, we have the perfect replacement. Brit actor has put his name forward to take over the James Bond mantle when his fellow countryman quits the role. He's British, he's handsome, he's a bad boy, he knows his action genre, AND he's been a spy before. Couldn't be a better fit, if you ask me...
The Daily Star is reporting that with only two movies remaining on Craig's contract, bosses at MGM and Sony are doubtless on the hunt for his replacement as iconic British spy, and that:
Although Craig is signed up for the next two Bond films the search for his replacement is already on... Tom is right at the top of the wish list. He's been approached to gauge his interest and he's keen... [Hardy] said earlier: "I'd love to play Bond with Chris Nolan as director or something, it'd be awesome."
Well, it looks like Hardy's dreams could now come true... And mine. If Hardy's the one, it's awesome news for Bond fans. The 36-year-old is a powerhouse of talent and his recent roles have only illustrated that here is the perfect combination of brawn and brain, with roles in Bronson, Inception, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and - of course - The Dark Knight Rises.
Do you think Tom Hardy is the right choice to play James Bond?
