After Arrow's extraordinary season finale, fans are dying to know exactly who made it out alive. At this point the "how" part is kind of murky (though one popular theory is that Slade's A.R.G.U.S. prison is most likely bomb proof), what we do know though, is who we'll see next season. Here is everyone who may or may not live to see Season 6.

1. Thea

Status: Alive

Considering that Arrow's EP Marc Guggenheim stated outright that they were never going to kill Thea — as she was Oliver's last remaining family – Thea is safe from the explosion. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Guggenheim said:

There’s two lines in the sand that I’ve drawn for Arrow for myself. I can’t speak for Greg [Berlanti] or for Wendy [Mericle], but for as long as I’m involved with the show, the two things I never want to do is kill off Thea [Willa Holland] and put Felicity in a mask and a costume. Those, to me, are two lines that I just think are a bridge too far...because we’ve already taken so many family members away from Oliver,

2. Digg And Felicity

Status: Alive

The original Team Arrow is probably not going to die any time soon. Despite them being fan favorite characters, both Diggle and Felicity have been Oliver's support system from the start; without them, Team Arrow will simply collapse. There's a probability that Emily Bett Rickards and David Ramsey are tied with the same (or similar) contracts as lead Stephen Amell, so that also makes their death seem implausible. Plus, Arrow has previously hinted that it's not quite done with Helix yet, and since this is a loose thread in an otherwise very compact season of Arrow, it positively ensures that Arrow's resident hacker extraordinaire isn't leaving us anytime soon.

3. The New Recruits

Status: Alive

Hollywood Reporter recently revealed that both Rick Gonzalez (Renee Ramirez/) and Juliana Harkavy (Dinah Drake/) have been upped to series regulars. Given that Renee will most assuredly fight to win his daughter back, and Dinah will have to adjust to there being a new sonic screamer in town, the coolest of the new recruits will definitely be making a return next season.

Curtis's (Echo Kellum) return is less certain as he's the most expendable of the lot given that Felicity is better than him in all things computer-related (and humor), the rest of Team Arrow is better in combat and Cisco is more tech savvy. His chances of death, while greater than Renee and Dinah, are still slim considering all the time put into making him Mr. Terrific. He could save everyone and die a heroic death, but compared to the other people on this list, Curtis Holt still has a fighting chance at survival.

4. Black Siren

Status: Alive

Katie Cassidy's return to the Arrowverse in Season 6 was prematurely revealed a few weeks back. Since the actress has signed on to play her villainous Earth-2 doppelgänger (something the fans and she herself finds more fun), we can mark her return as certain.

5. Samantha

Status: Probably Dead

Considering that Samantha wanted to stay on the island and look for her kid instead of escaping on the plane, Samantha (a.k.a. Oliver's baby mama) may just die. Of course this is all theoretical, but it would make sense with her character so far. Furthermore, it would give the writers a new twist on the : mayor, vigilante and single dad.

6. Dark Archer

Status: Dead

The villainous Malcolm Merlyn is almost certainly doomed. He died saving his daughter Thea and as John Barrowman himself has confirmed (with bitterness no less), he will not be making a return to the .

7. Quentin Lance

Status: Alive

With Malcolm Merlyn gone, Quentin Lance is the only parent left on Arrow. He's been popular with the writers and the fans, and despite losing his daughters so many times, he's never been short of amazing. With Katie Cassidy's return confirmed for next season, Quentin is definitely going to be showing his face next season.

It's important to mention that in Episode 22 when Lance asked his daughter's lookalike how she could do this to someone who looked like her own dad, Siren — in a rare moment of vulnerability — replied, "You think this is easy for me?" This line alone gives us an idea that there is more to Siren than what meets the eye and Quentin possibly could play a big part next season.

8. Boomerang And Artemis

Status: Dead, Alive

Two important characters from the comics treated unfavorably by the Arrow writers, both Captain Boomerang and Artemis had little in common with their comic book counterparts. Nonetheless, the decision to bring Captain Boomerang back into the mix could mean that the writers are planning on taking the character to The Flash. After all, he was never treated as a rogue on the series like many others on the show.

Artemis, however, will probably die. There's too much bad blood between her and the rest of Team Arrow for there to be peaceful coexistence between the two. To save her, Arrow would need a hell of a redemption arc, and since there are chances that that particular fate is reserved for Cassidy's villainous character, we probably won't see Artemis again soon.

9. Al Ghul Sisters

'Arrow' [Credit: Warner Bros. TV]

Status: Dead, Alive

There's little that can be done with Talia al Ghul, so her death (and the death of her minions) is quite eminent. Nyssa, on the other hand, could survive. The writers of Legends of Tomorrow have always expressed their interest in Nyssa boarding the Waverider, and since Legends' next season is supposed to be a blood bath (in terms of it killing its main cast), Nyssa could find a place on board — especially since Katrina Law's commitment to Fox's Training Day is over after its cancellation.

10. Deathstroke

Status: Could Go Either Way

Saving would certainly be the right decision according to the fans, but if Arrow truly wants to close its doors on the last five years, the case for Slade Wilson's death can be made. Nonetheless, I shudder to think of how enraged the fans will get if Arrow ends up saving people like Curtis or Boomerang but doesn't save Manu Bennett's iconic role. His relationship with Green Arrow has easily been the highlight of the show, so while killing him seems quite inhumane, there really isn't much the character can do on the show if he does survive the blast.
