Hey everybody, there's a sequel to the 1946 holiday classic It's a Wonderful Life in the works. Aren't you excited? No? Good. According to my Advent calendar, this is one movie that you can't touch. The sequel is reportedly being called It's a Wonderful Life: The Rest of the Story. If this thing actually happens, humanity will be on Santa's naughty list.

Variety is reporting that the film will follow George Bailey's grandson. Bailey, of course, was played by the iconic Jimmy Stewart in 's original film. Variety is also reporting that , who played Stewart's daughter in the original film, will return as an angel. Grime's character, Zusu, uttered some of the most memorable lines in movie history when she said, "Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings!"

Seriously, you guys, how is this happening? No other cast has been announced yet, however George Bailey's grandson will allegedly be cast in February of next year. The project is said to have a budget between $24-35 million. I would say Christmas came early if Christmas hadn't been destroyed.

The movie is gearing up for a holiday season release in 2015.
