DC fans have had a lot of Arrow action on the small screen, but the DC community has speculated a long time about seeing the Green Arrow in a movie, whether this is as an appearance in the Justice League, or a movie of his very own.

We've heard Sons of Anarchy's Charlie Hunnam bandied about as the favorite to play big screen Arrow, but this seems highly unlikely after the actor's frank interview with Yahoo.

You could definitely see Hunnam rocking some Arrow moves, right?

When asked about potentially playing the Arrow, Hunnam responded:

"I didn’t grow up a comic book fan and I haven’t really seen any of those Marvel films or the Batman films. It’s just not really my taste. I must confess I don’t really know who the Green Arrow is. It’s not part of my vision for my career or what I aspire to."

Say what you feel, Hunnam! Sure, it's better to be told honestly what is likely to happen, but this reaction is obviously a little disappointing for fans who wanted to see Hunnam join the DCU.

Justice League — sans Green Arrow, probably — hits theaters November 17, 2017.
