Actor is busy doing some last-minute promoting for 's After Earth, but that's not stopping the multitalented man from seeking out his next project. It would seem that the omnipresent A-lister will be rebooting a classic Western.

The Wrap is reporting that Smith is in talks to both star in and produce Warner Bros. reboot of 's The Wild Bunch. Except by all accounts, it's not going to be a reboot at all, but a complete remake, with the only elements the two movies will share being a title and geographically similar setting. This is Smith's first proper Western (over-the-top comedy debacle Wild, Wild West doesn't count), but I expect him to be able to handle it, as he plays virtually the same character in every movie, similar to 's schtick. Smith's Overbrook Entertainment will produce alongside .

Do you love this idea? Do you hate it? I'm not sure how I feel about it, honestly. [[follow]] along to stay updated.
