We're you one of those people who got pretty annoyed when they heard Obi-Wan Kenobi might be having a granddaughter/daughter in the new Star Wars: Episode VII? Well, if you are, you'll want to stick around for this piece of news.

As is often the case with Disney movies, much of our information comes from websites who cite 'anonymous sources close to the production'. Now sometimes this information turns out to be correct, but it's also true this information can invariably be inaccurate, mistaken or just down-right wrong — especially if the 'source' doesn't really know what they're talking about. That seems to be the case with the Obi-Wan Kenobi offspring rumors.

According to Latino Review (who once again rely on anonymous sources), Obi-Wan Kenobi will NOT be having a granddaughter or daughter in Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens. This will therefore keep his character canonical as it was always assumed (and stated) that Kenobi never fathered children or married.

However, they do state there will be a Kenobi relation in Star Wars: Episode VII — be it a niece, nephew, other relation or even a Force Ghost. All we do know is that it is, according to Latino Review, definitely not a daughter or granddaughter.
