is back, and from the sounds of it, he's coming back in style. He recently claimed he wanted the upcoming The Legend of Conan to be a 'sophisticated A movie' as opposed to a simple hack n' slash B movie (so, does that mean no more camel punching?). If that's not enough to get serious action fans foaming at the mouth, the possibility that might also be heading to Hyboria might just do it.

In an interview with I Am Rogue, Schwarzenegger was directed onto the question of whether he would soon be sharing the big screen with The Rock. Arnie replied:

"I think it would be great for him, for The Rock to play the earlier generation and me the later generation. I'm looking forward to that."

Now, we should probably point out that he didn't explicitly talk about The Legend of Conan, but this talk of younger and older generations could possibly be a reference to the Conan sequel's storyline. It will feature Conan as a much older man, which isn't surprising since Arnie is now 65 years old. Conan has now been the King of Hyboria for a long time, however when a new threat emerges, he has to get back into training in order to return to his former level of ass-kickery. Wouldn't it be great if The Rock was this new threat? Schwarzenegger very briefly shared some screentime with Johnson in 's The Rundown, however it was nowhere near enough.

Of course, The Rock isn't a stranger to sword fighting and fantasy lands. He memorably broke onto the big screen with his portrayal of the Scorpion King in the Mummy franchise. Actually, it turns out he was possibly the best thing about those later movies. In any case, I would personally love to see The Rock and Arnie go head-to-head in Robert E. Howard's universe. But who do you think would win? Let us know below.

The Legend of Conan is still in it's early stages of development, although it is set for a July 2014 release. Punch the [[follow]] button to be kept updated with it's development.
