Like basically everything else the world of movies is constantly changing. There is however one constant: every year sees the release of a movie directed by Woody Allen.

2014 will be no exception.

The Woody movie in question: Magic in the Moonlight. And thanks to the good people of Sony Picture Classics, who were so kind to buy the rights for the film, we even know what it’s about:

MAGIC IN THE MOONLIGHT is a romantic comedy about an Englishman brought in to help unmask a possible swindle. Personal and professional complications ensue. The film is set in the south of France in the 1920s against a backdrop of wealthy mansions, the Côte d’Azur, jazz joints and fashionable spots for the wealthy of the Jazz Age.

Said Englishman will, quite suitably, be played by Academy Award winner .
