made a big splash in her recent interview with Vanity Fair when she dropped the bomb that Ronan Farrow, whom she raised with as his son, was 'possibly' fathered by .
Take a look at the comparison shots below. The physical similarities are pretty compelling:
The revelation, if proved correct, would be a relief for Ronan Farrow, who has publicly rejected Woody Allen as any kind of father figure. Allen was already reviled by the Farrow family for entering into a relationship with his step-daughter (and Mia Farrow's biological daughter) Soon-Yi Previn.
The relationship was not only slammed for the part Allen played in raising Soon-Yi, but on grounds that their relationship allegedly began when his step-daughter was underage. Farrow's other son, Fletcher, has admitted to photoshopping Allen out of every family photo and video, adding that Soon-Yi 'does not exist' to the Farrow family.
In addition to this sticky situation, Allen has been accused of sexually abusing his adopted daughter, Dylan, who said of the alleged molestation:
I'm scared of him, his image. I was doing it because I was scared. I wanted it to stop.
Allen has denied allegations, sending a statement to the Hollywood Reporter via his publicist, Leslee Dart, calling Farrow's claims:
so fictitious and extravagantly absurd that he is not going to comment.
Woody Allen has been rejected by his family, but Sinatra was hardly a model husband to Farrow either, despite her saying that they 'never really split up'. Sinatra's various alleged infidelities on top of an abusive streak that his fourth wife, Barbara, played down as his 'fiery Italian side' make for an unpleasant picture of the musical star. Fortunately, Ronan has been embraced by the rest of the Sinatras. Jr. has confirmed that, at the very least, Ronan is treated as part of her family:
He is a big part of us, and we are blessed to have him in our lives.
It's been a bizarre week for the Farrows, as it has also recently emerged that Mia's brother, John Charles Villers-Farrow, is being held on $250,000 bail, accused with sexually abusing two children.
Hopefully Ronan can find happiness with the family that he has, and will support his mother through the troubling times ahead as they continue to attempt to restabilize their lives. He tweeted his approval of Mia Farrow's statement, saying:
What do you think? You can't deny the physical similarities between Ronan and Frank Sinatra, but as no DNA test has been taken, nothing is legitimate at this point. With so many scandals from the younger celebs these days, it's a timely reminder that the older generation still have their skeletons in the closet. Let us know your thoughts below.
