Zombies might not exist (yet), but they've already done a great job of infecting our brains. Nowadays, basically everyone has their own zombie survival plan. If I move into a new apartment, one of my first priorities is ensuring it is defensible in the inevitable zombie apocalypse. Then I check for good water pressure... That's equally as important.

Anyway, once you've developed your escape routes, stockpiled your food and gathered all your weapons, there's only one thing left to do: Practice. And that's exactly what you can do at The Walking Dead Escape events.

These officially recognized events pit you against a building filled to the brim with zombies and ghouls (AKA out of work actors and paying members of the public). The most recent one was held in Philadelphia and featured a huge stadium which had been 'renovated' to resemble the zombie apocalypse. The public were then unleashed into the vast complex to work their way from the overran military safe zone to a new sanctuary. Check out some videos below which show the setup and one runner's adventure through the infestation:

Think you've got what it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse Walking Dead-style (or alternatively do you want to be Walker for the day)? Well check out the official website to get even more information. The next event is being held in San Diego on July 19th and 20th. Head over here for tickets and other details.
