The Wolverine doesn't land in theaters for another couple of months, but Marvel Studios has already started planning for the future and the beardy badass is very much central to their plans. Comic book demi-God spoke to Fox 2 Detroit and when fans asked what the future holds for the studio, he responded:

Sequel after sequel. Marvel is already working on the next iterations of Iron Man and The Avengers, as well as Wolverine.

We already knew that Iron Man 4 and The Avengers: Age Of Ultron were on the radar but this is the first I've heard about Marvel actively working on a new Wolverine movie. It will be interesting to see how this develops, especially considering that 's contract with the studio expires after 's X-Men: Days Of Future Past. Will Marvel be able to convince him to sign on for what would be a seventh outing for the iconic mutant? While he's still in unbelievable shape, Jackman is now 44 years old. Does he want to be punishing himself with workouts and extreme diets when he's pushing 50?

Are you excited to get another Wolverine movie? Can you guys imagine it without Hugh Jackman? Let me know what you think in the comment section below.
