Now, while the more high profile likes of Logan and Deadpool 2 may draw more of the headlines, there's arguably no more intriguing unknown quantity in 's upcoming superhero lineup than the studio's "teen X-Men" movie, . After all, with the main movie franchise apparently stuttering, there's both every incentive for Fox to try something new, and every possibility that a success on the movie's part could make it one of the studio's new "core" properties.

However, despite the movie being widely anticipated to begin filming in May 2017, we still don't know all that much about it, or even what it's set to be called. Or do we? Y'see...

'The New Mutants' May Finally Have An Actual Title

That, at least, is what Le Journal de Montreal is reporting, revealing recently that the movie — which is set to film in the Canadian city — will in fact be known as X-Men: The New Mutants.

Which is, of course, precisely the sort of ever-so-slightly clunky naming convention that would be a whole lot easier to mock if the (equally awkwardly named) Star Wars movies didn't routinely make more money than some countries' GDP. It's also, however, a smart way to ensure that any audience members who don't pay as much attention as, say, everyone reading this, will indeed know that the movie is X-Men-themed, and thus hopefully go to see it.

Of course, there's also the distinct possibility that Le Journal de Montreal is just calling the movie X-Men: The New Mutants for their own convenience, or even that the movie will only be called that when translated from French, but until we hear otherwise, that's most likely the front-runner.

Still want more on The New Mutants, though? Never fear, we've got you covered right here.

In the meantime, what do you think? What do you think The New Mutants' movie should be called? Let us know below!
