If the zombie apocalypse kicks off you'll find me in the Winchester. @moremattcarter

Ever since I started watching The Walking Dead I've been planning for the zombie apocalypse. My bathtub is always full of fresh water (it annoys my long-suffering girlfriend to no end), I've stashed various blunt objects around my apartment, and wherever I go I always know my exits. Safety first and all that.

Well, now I've got some great news for all you parents out there that want to prepare your children for the coming zombie armageddon. The city of Cedar Rapids is holding a two week zombie survival camp at the end of March. No really.

According to kcrg.com:

Adventurous kids between the ages of 8 and 12 are eligible to participate. Organizers say kids will make an emergency survival kit, build a shelter and find their way in the wilderness. The camp will test the kids' newly acquired survival skills on the last day with a "water gun war" of humans vs. zombies.

I so wish I was a 12-year-old kid again, they get to have all the fun.
