It seems that two DC favorites, Batman and Superman, will be teaming up for a single movie in 2015. The announcement was made on Saturday at Comic-Con, along with a tentative schedule of a Flash movie in 2016 and a Justice League movie in 2017.

The original plan for a Justice League movie, followed by spin-off movies, has seemingly been scrapped as a result of this announcement.

It is unclear as to the casting of Batman, although this movie is intended as a follow-up to Man Of Steel. It is likely that Henry Cavill will reprise his roll as Superman. It is unclear if this is intended to bring the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight Trilogy together with the Man of Steel universe.

No doubt we will hear a great deal more about this in the coming weeks.
