The banners feature various characters for the upcoming film including Ian McKellen as Gandalf the Grey, Lee Pace as the Elvenking Thranduil, Luke Evans as Bard the Bowman and Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins with his dwarf friends seemingly making their way through cobwebs.
The second installment of Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy also got its second trailer. Among its highlights include the Dwarves of Erebor and their plan to take the Lonely Mountain, Bilbo Baggins nearly telling Gandalf about the ring he found, and Legolas fancying a lady.
[[yt:fnaojlfdUbs]]It's also the first we're hearing Benedict Cumberbatch's voice as Smaug. Cumberbatch is actually voicing two characters in the film -- aside from the dragon he will also be lending vocals to the Necromancer that eventually becomes Sauron.
