We've all had nightmares. Those dark dreams can leave us creeped out for months, afraid to go to sleep and especially afraid to dream. Luckily, there's a way to defuse nightmares using the amazing powers of lucid dreaming.
We created this chose your own adventure video, inspired by our love of horror films, to show viewers how to defeat nightmares with the tool of lucid dreaming. For those who don't know, a lucid dream is simply the realization that you’re dreaming while in a dream: “Wait a minute! I’m dreaming right now!” This realization often comes about when you notice a trigger, something unusual that makes you stop and question your reality. In the case of a nightmare, your trigger will probably look something like this: "A beast from hell is trying to devour me right now, this must be a dream!"
This video isn't an exaggeration: you really can face a nightmare head-to-head like a confrontation with Freddy Kruger himself. Once you realize that you're in a dream, use your infinite dream powers and heal that dark corner of your psyche. You may just feel better when you wake up.
