Whilst production for the Man of Steel sequel isn’t officially set to start until early 2014, there will actually be some filming taking place this weekend. East Los Angeles College Campus News has the scoop, as the filming will involve their football game this Saturday.

It’s being reported that when the ELAC team go into the locker room at half time, the stadium will turn into the home of Gotham City University for a game against Metropolis State University. It’s being claimed that “the first 2,000 people who sit in the filming area of the stadium will receive T-shirts designed by [Zack] Snyder for those participating in the filming.” It’s also claiming that filming be pretty quick, with just three takes of three plays being filmed.

It’s not known whether Bruce Wayne/Batman or Clark Kent/Superman will make an appearance during the game.

At present Man of Steel 2/Batman vs Superman/Superman vs Batman is looking at a 17th July, 2015 release.
