It seems like pretty much 90% of the press work for Marvel Studios is done by Kevin Feige these days… and this article is no different. In another interview picked up by the ever-on-the-ball guys at PeliBlog, Feige has been talking about the possibilities of a fourth Iron Man film and also a new outing for the Hulk. At present, there are no plans for Robert Downey Jr. to return in a solo Tony Stark/Iron Man film, although the actor is signed up for both Avengers: Age of Ultron and The Avengers 3.

In terms of Downey Jr. and a possible return, Feige said, “If I believe Tony Stark to be James Bond, then there would be an Iron Man 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9… What is James Bond on at? Twenty? Downey Jr.’s return is the question. And again, that’s a question we won’t have to face until after Avengers 3. So that’s at least five or six years away.”

Moving onto the chance of another Hulk solo film happening, Feige said, “All of the effort related to Hulk right now is going to Age of Ultron. It’s exciting, because he hasn’t been in any other film, so you can expect to have a lot of Bruce Banner and Hulk in Age of Ultron. Where we go after that? We’ll see. It will be a little while before we figure that out, but we do think there’s plenty of opportunities with Rufallo’s Banner.”

Whilst Hulk undoubtedly stole The Avengers, his recent solo films have seen a mixed reaction from fans and critics a-like. Personally, I’ve got a lot of time for both of them. Fingers crossed that the big green guy gets some cinematic lovin’ soon.
