Yes, this could have also been titled 'My secret obsession with Scarlett Johansson' but there are more pressing matters at hand.
AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON
"Natasha is a huge part of the sequel [The Avengers: Age of Ultron]"
Fanboys and Johansson fans rejoice. It definitely looks like we will have a lot to look forward to, especially since Whedon stressed that "you do want to concentrate on the people who don't have their own franchises."
She was the most fun for me because she's not a hero..[she's] a spy. It's a different thing—it's a different skill set—and you don't have their moral high ground or any of that good stuff.' And that just makes her so interesting to me. So yeah, the stuff I've got going on with her in the second one is killer."
So I guess it's good to give a little more time to an integral member of the Avengers team. Although, for not having her own franchise, she's making some pretty frequent appearances.
CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER
Agent Romanoff is first re-appearing in the vibranium flinging sequel to Captain America in which Johansson said her and Cap's character..
"Have a working relationship. They've been working for the government throughout their professional careers. [But]..their friendship becomes more intimate."
Which, technically follows around a branch off of history between these two characters. Even going as far as the two of them having a child in Next Avengers, James Rodgers.
The spy and the soldier. It is kind of romantic. Especially since we all know Johansson has serious acting caliber she can pull out whenever called upon. Whedon even went on record while discussing the film saying, "she's great in 'Cap 2'."
And in case you forgot, Natasha Ramanoff made her first appearance to the Marvel universe in Iron Man 2. So she will have 3 times as many films under her belt as her S.H.I.E.L.D. partner Hawkeye. And, considering the everyday skin and bone human being that she and Hawkeye both share on a team of far than human or normal heroes, she hasn't missed a beat.
So it is a safe bet that by the time 2014 rolls around with the Captian's new film, then 2015 [finally] comes with the Avenger's new film, we may see Natasha in a completely different light. One that may even tip the scales back to the fact that she used to not be one of the good guys. Until then, it's shaping up to be an interesting future.
