Stan Lee Comikaze Expo in Los Angeles supposedly has some interesting news about the DC/WB movie universe. According to tweets from Forbes film blogger Mark Hughes.
"AMC panel says Ben Affleck will likely direct Batman solo movie & a JUSTICE LEAGUE film."
Which is not surprising to me because I've always felt that Affleck as Batman was part of a cost effective package deal for Warner Brothers (kind of like that 10 gallon jar of mayo you get at Costco).
Jaimie Alexander confirms third THOR film is happening.
This is another thing that doesn't surprise me considering that things look pretty good for the success of "Thor: The Dark World" and the popularity of her character. She also says to look out for more Sif.
The Tweet that surprises me is this one-
Jaimie Alexander has been having "comversations" w/ WB/DC. She also knows things a/b BATMAN VS SUPERMAN's story. Do the math.
My mind immediately races to Wonder Woman. She has even mentioned in the past that she would like to play the iconic character and that she is embarrassed by current versions.
"The Math" could add up to Wonder Woman or at least Diana Prince being in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel. It would be cheaper than putting her in her own movie. It also gives DC's two biggest selling heroes something more than a football game to fight over. I really don't know if she can exist in two different cinematic universes at once but she is tough and I could see her as WW but did I mention the ten gallon jar of mayonaise? I mean it's cheaper but I couldn't eat all that before it went bad.
I can't wait to see if these questions are going to be answered by Zack Snyder and Kevin Smith during their upcoming live Q&A on Nov. 9th on Yahoo.
