Recently announced, musical genius Hans Zimmer has been attached to score Marc Webb's the Amazing Spider-Man 2. I, like many of Zimmer's fans, was very excited. But now I feel a little confused. After this news, it was announced that Zimmer would collaborating with... Pharell Williams?

Yes, the very popular musician has joined the music talent of TASM2 to form a "Dynamic Duo" with Hans Zimmer. But wait, there's more!

"Marc and I were talking about Spider-Man," said Zimmer, "and as the word got out, so many of our friends and musicians started calling us up, wanting to be a part of it, because they love Spider-Man…With all of these hugely talented people wanting to join us, it was Marc who said, ‘Why not start a band?’ Marc and I have had a great start jamming with everybody, and we still have a few surprises up our sleeve."

Band? Hugely talented people? Who could these people be? They would be none other than The Smith's Johnny Marr, Eurythmics musician Dave Stewart, and Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger.

As if the genius of Hans Zimmer was not enough, it seems that he has recruited a super group of musicians to help score the film. Will it be worth it? I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
