If you have watched a single episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. thus far, it has become blatantly obvious that it resides in the same universe as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In fact, I have yet to watch an episode where it has not been mentioned (not that I am really complaining, since I too would be talking about god's and giant green monsters pretty often if I was there). Well, it looks like we are going to be getting an all new dose of cinematic crossover and "Thor's arms are so buff" jokes after this weekends release of Thor: The Dark World.

EW has confirmed that the upcoming season 1 episode entitled "The Well", which airs Nov. 19th, will feature crossover content from the new cinematic feature. The episode synopsis reads:

“In the aftermath of the events chronicled in the feature film Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World, Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pick up the pieces–one of which threatens to destroy a member of the team.”

If the trailers for Thor 2 are any indication, Malekith and the Dark Elves look to bring some major damage to the world and, therefore, our ragtag team of spies. What's more, this could be the first introduction of alien influence to MAOS outside of the Chitauri and Azgardians.

So far, no cast members from the second Thor adventure are officially slated to make a guest appearance on the show. However if you remember correctly, Samuel L. Jackson was not confirmed for the episode "0-8-4" either. The only prior indication that he may appear came in the form of an easter egg during the promo teaser for the episode (shown in the picture above).

I don't know about you, but I will be keeping an eye out for any lightning bolts, random hammer shapes, or Loki-esque horns in the upcoming teaser for "The Well", which should air following the Nov. 12th episode "The Hub".
