Two weeks ago I had to make one of the hardest decisions in my entire life. I sat there for over 45 minutes, staring intensely and mulling over the details until I finally came to a reluctant decision: I would purchase the maroon bow-tie and green tipped sonic screwdriver to finally change my Halloween costume from the 10th to the 11th Doctor.

So imagine my surprise when not one but two TV trailers were released by the BBC yesterday in anticipation for the upcoming Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special: The Day of the Doctor. The two trailers feature a larger dose of both Matt Smith and David Tennant, and show the regal John Hurt in his new role as a previous incarnation of the mysterious Doctor.

There are a couple of pretty great hints in the trailer that prove a few of my recent speculations toward what his going to happen in the special (read those HERE). The most exciting and aesthetically pleasing of which is what seems to be footage of the mysterious and long talked about Time War in action.
