Meet Rebekah: singer, writer, artist, movie buff and owner of a castle in Northern Ireland (*speculation*).

1. Tell us who you are and what brought you to contributing at Moviepilot?

Hello guys and gals, well I am Rebekah, I am 20 years old and hail from good ol' Northern Ireland. No I am not a leprechaun.

I live in a town called Carrickfergus, it has a castle. (cool right? - I live there..."cough" i wish). I like to do a little bit of everything creative: art, singing, but most importantly... I am a massive film enthusiast, spending way too much time at the cinema and too much money on movies than I probably should do. I have always loved chilling out with a movie; I love the sense of escapism that it gives me and is my therapeutic release when things get a little too much. I decided I would study journalism as a step to becoming a film critic, so one night i decided to make a little movie review blog on Wordpress and I reviewed Man of Steel in my typical unconventional approach, (Kat picked up on this as I was being slightly pervy towards Henry Cavill's abs of steel). Could you blame me? But yeah, next day I was checking my emails and was asked to join the beloved family which I'm now proud to be part of at Moviepilot, even if I have been a little bit absent lately, but University is a busy time! I promise I will be back very soon to hopefully entertain you with my words :)

2. Tell us about your favorite movies and genres. Do you have an all time favorite?

I am going to get so much hate for this but I don't care... I love chick flicks, always have, always will. They make me laugh, cry and fantasize. I love rooting for people and I believe they get me to just that. I don't have a particular favorite.. does the little mermaid count? Oh yeah, I love all Disney Movies, Mulan, The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast are my faves.

I LOVE mean girls, it's just a classic in my eyes. I think even my kids and their kids will be watching it. I also adore 500 Days of Summer... everything about that movie - the soundtracks, the story, the acting - everything! It usually helps if I love the actors, I tend to pretty much love everything that they star in, there's too many of them so I won't bore you with the list! Aside from chick flicks.. I love a good old fashioned thriller, something not too scary (lets face it though, what is?) but just enough to have me on the edge of my seat! I'm just gonna quickly add in that I love the first 3 Scary Movies: Anna Faris is my hero!

3. If you could interview anybody in the world for Moviepilot, who would it be?

Hmm... this is a tough one, I think I would ask the weirdest questions out of nervousness...I would probably interview Tina Fey, Kirsten Wigg, Sandra Bullock or maybe even.. hmm I don't know.. Morgan Freeman, I know I can only have one, but let me just explain.. Tina Fey because she was responsible for bringing Mean Girls into my life and I think she would provide some quality banter. ... Kirsten Wigg, quite similar to Tina Fey for bringing me Bridesmaids.. and also for the fact that I think she would just be a delight. Sandra Bullock because I really respect her as an actress and I just feel that she's so underrated as an actress. MORGAN BLOODY FREEMAN, WHO WOULDN'T WANNA INTERVIEW THAT MAN?! THAT VOICE. He's amazing. I don't even know how else to justify that choice, I'm getting excited just thinking about it.

or yano.. Will Ferrel. .actually, could I have all of the lads from Anchorman? (Paul Rudd is a babe).

4. Which movies are you most excited to see in 2014 and why?

I'm really excited for The Amazing Spiderman 2, judging from what I've been reading on our site it's going to be epic. Im quite curious to see what they do with Noah and Godzilla, they're either going to annoy me or impress me.

5. Who would play you in a movie of your life? A hero or a villain?

I would like to think a hero would play me, I haven't done anything worthy of being a villain and they tend to suffer a terrible fate. I'm certainly not perfect but I would rather use powers for good than evil (especially if I had them), kick some ass, kinda like hit girl, she counts as a hero, right?
