Kalyeb "Mr. Fancast" Gordon is back again with another fancast! This time around I'm tackling the X-Men and sort of "revamping" the characters with new talent while keeping a couple that already played them.

The point of this fancast is to fit new actor/actresses in these popular roles to see if they can potentially look better on paper than the currently casted X-Men.

THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONALLY LONG FANCAST !

Without further ado, Let's get started!

Professor Charles Xavier: Daniel Day-Lewis

One of the greatest actors of all time who really puts his all into his work. If ever casted as Professor X, imagine the work he would put in to not only capture what Patrick Stewart did which was amazing, but also bring something new to the role.

Scott Summers/Cyclops: Matt Bomer

Have this guy fancasted as Dick Grayson/Nightwing but he can also work here as Cyclops. Marsters take on it was okay, but can definitely be improved upon. Bomer's White Collar role can add that suave to Cyclops so the acting part wont be a problem. Also he looks like the character which helps a lot.

Bobby Drake/Iceman: Jay Baruchel

Underrated talent who really needs that defining role. Something people can look at him and say: "Oh that's the ice guy from the X-Men Movie" instead of "It's the nerd from Tropic Thunder" Baruchel can absolutely pull off a character like Iceman and can add a new spin to it to make it loveable to the viewing audience.

Warren Worthington III/Archangel: Armie Hammer

Lone Ranger was awful. Let's get that out of the way. Other than that he's pretty solid as an actor. He's very serious in his roles and he can continue that with Archangel. If Hammer grew out his hair or had some "movie magic" applied, he'd have the look down no question. He's stated that he doesn't want to play superheroes but if he ever were to, I'd have him play Archangel.

Dr. Henry "Hank" McCoy/Beast: Joel Edgerton

Edgerton is an amazing talent who was great in Warrior & Zero Dark Thirty. He can pull off the kind-hearted Dr. McCoy and has the chops to handle the ferocious side of the Beast. This role is perfect for him and it's almost as if he's made for that role. He looks just like him!

Jean Grey/Phoenix: Evan Rachel Wood

This role fits ERW. She's a great actress and can pull it off without a problem. Not much to say except she'll knock this out of the park.

Alex Summers/Havoc: Garrett Hedlund

I have him fancasted as Wally West in my Justice League FC. Hedlund is extremely talented and if he doesn't play Flash, Havoc should be next in line. Looks, acting chops to pull off a mutant, what else do you need?!

Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler: Anton Yelchin

With some "movie magic" he can really sell the Nightcrawler character. Yelchin is a good actor so I see nothing wrong with this choice.

James Howlett (Logan)/Wolverine: Christian Kane

Replacing the extremely long tenure of Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman is a very tough job but someone's gotta do it. Christian Kane definitely fits the bill. He can play badass, he has the rough look of Logan down and can do action. Very very solid choice for Wolverine whenever Jackman decides it's time to hang it up.

Sean Cassidy/Banshee: Tony Curran

Don't know much about this guy except for his work on Blade II. This guy HAS THE LOOK DOWN. Nuff said.

Ororo Munroe/Storm: Naomie Harris

Great actress who can nail this role. Halle Berry did a great job but Harris should be next in line to try something new. She was great in Skyfall, Ninja Assassin, and according to the Nelson Mandela trailer, she looks like she was great. That and the fact that she's beautiful and looks like Storm sells this for me.

Piotr "Peter" Rasputin/Colossus: Owain Yeoman

He's good in The Mentalist. "Movie Magic" once again can pull off the "look" part. He would crush this.

Katherine "Kitty" Pryde/Shadowcat: Jennifer Lawrence

She's already Mystique, a role I feel should be given to someone else (coming up) but by playing Kitty Pryde, she can showcase a lot more of her skills instead of just 'seductive'. Ellen Page is already Pryde, but Lawrence would play this role to perfection. Just look at the side-by-sides.

Anna Marie/Rogue: Lauren Cohan

In my opinion she's the hottest thing walking right now. This woman is beautiful and even though I'm not an avid Walking Dead viewer, I catch a few episodes and she's great in it and also great looking. She looks identical to the Rogue character and her role in TWD can certainly bring a new dimension to her.

Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto: Gary Oldman

Jim Gordon himself! This guy is an absolute vet and can really use all he's got into the character of Magneto. Sir Ian McKellen portrayal of Magneto is remarkable but Oldman would definitely serve it justice. Just imagine on-screen scenes with Oldman and Day-Lewis. Just picture that...

Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock/Psylocke: Maggie Q

Even though she is of Asian decent and Psylocke is British character as well as being the twin sister to Braddock a.k.a. Captain Britian, this could be controversial - but I like Maggie Q here. She give off that tough girl vibe that can make this character come to life.

Remy LeBeau/Gambit: Taylor Kitsch

No change here as Kitsch fits perfect for this role.

Jubilation Lee/Jubilee: Ellen Wong

She was great in Scott Pilgrim, she'll be great in this. Hopefully she has the skills to make Jubilee here to stay.

Lucas Bishop: Chad Coleman

Tyrone from The Walking Dead. Badass. Bishop is badass. Need I say more?

Nathan Summers/Cable: Adam Baldwin

Solid actor who would have to put on some muscle along with the ever popular "movie magic" and the result is Baldwin pulling off an amazing Cable.

Emma Frost/White Queen: Alice Eve

Beautiful actress who I have casted as Supergirl in an upcoming World's Finest movie fancast. Another solid choice.

Raven Darkholme/Mystique: Rachel Weisz

In my opinion Weisz should've been Mystique instead of J-Law but that's just me. Weisz is a vet and can make this role bone-chillingly good.

James Proudstar/Warpath: Jason Momoa

Look, I really don't need to explain this...

Victor Creed/Sabretooth: Tom Hardy

Has the look down, especially in this picture and can play dark characters with ease! Bane himself people!

Neena Thurman/Domino: Olivia Wilde

Wilde's a decent actress who would fit perfectly in the X-Men universe and can hold her own with Domino.

Tyrone "Ty" Johnson/Cloak: Chadwick Boseman

Yes, I can see the '42' star as a Marvel character. If he doesn't do Green Lantern John Stewart or Cyborg, then this is definitely in his wheelhouse.

Tandy Bowen/Dagger: Malin Akerman

She was already Silk Spetre II in Zack Snyder's Watchmen. So? Even though I love Watchmen, nobody would mind if Akerman played another comic character. Both her and Boseman would work great together.

Adam Warlock: Alexander Skarsgard

If he doesn't play Aquaman (I hope he does!) Then the character of Warlock can be the next best fit. Looks, he can act, and has experience dealing with intense roles.

AND FINALLY...

Laura Kinney/X-23: Isabelle Fuhrman

Young talent who was in Hunger Games. She'd be great for the role. I can see her pulling this off.

AND THAT'S IT FOR THIS FANCAST!

I apologize for the length of this and ask readers to really bear with me, this was made for you to enjoy numerous opinionated picks for us to debate about.!
