After years of a completely insane trip through the seven circles of Development Hell, (whatever they are; I don't know, it just sounds cool) Universal seems to have gotten the ball rolling on Dumb and Dumber To, the long-awaited sequel to the Farrelly Brothers' 1994 classic. Mr. Harry Dunne himself, Emmy-winner Jeff Daniels, tweeted the following message today.

Universal announces on Deadline Hollywood to be released on November 14, 2014. - @Jeff_Daniels

By the time this film will be released, it will have been twenty years since the original was released. Both Daniels and Jim Carrey have been teasing fans of the franchise with tweets, pictures, and the usual hype. Now, we've got a date to put on our calendars, and we've reached the next level of the waiting game. Tentatively scheduled for the same release date is Fury, starring Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf. That's one week after the release of Christopher Nolan's Interstellar, and one week before The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, part 1, so it looks like Harry and Lloyd have quite the competition to outsmart.

Again, the film is set to open on November 14, 2014.
