With an eye to the future we are all going to be flat broke by the end of 2015. Not to detract from all the great films that we are expecting out next year, most of us are all waiting for the next big blockbuster year. 2015 has the potential to be the biggest year for films ever. There are at least 3 films I can think of off the top of my head that could break the $1 billion mark.

The first of the big three is one that I have loved from childhood, Star Wars Ep VII. While details are under tight restraints we have all heard the same things about the return of the original cast to reprise the roles that made them famous.

Next out of the trio is Avengers: Age of Ultron. While I have serious doubts that it can live up to the first and am worried about the drastic changes they are making to the origin story of Ultron, I believe that the bookend to Marvel's phase 2 will meet if not surpass the take of the first Avengers.

And finally the one that worries me the most is the sequel Man of Steel 2 (I will never refer to this film as "Batman vs. Superman", due to the fact that that title implies that this is not a Superman movie, and it is). With all the backlash about the casting choices from Ben Affleck as Batman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, that I have voiced my opinions on in previous articles, I worry that too many people will shy away from this film without giving it a fair shot as I plan to do despite my reservations. Then we have all the rumors flying around about possibly seeing The Flash, or Nightwing (a bad idea all around), that could make people think it's a JLA movie and not a true sequel.

After these films that I'm sure will be in a race for the top spot of the summer there are a ton of other films coming out in 2015 that are not getting the attention they probably deserve. I encourage all of you to expand your news sources and don't overlook the great films that could be great but need the support of fans.

So what film are you most looking forward to in 2014, and 2015?
