So it's natural to still be surprised, happy or appalled at the Season 6 finale which I will not spoil in case you have not seen it yet or read anything posted anywhere on the net. Either way if you are a fan and watch it as much and as religiously as most of us do you are hating the fact that we only have one season remaining. I know all good things come to an end, but it doesn't mean that 10 seasons instead of 7 wouldn't be awesome. With the show coming to an end next year, Kurt Sutter, has spoken about a possible idea to follow.
During the "Sons for Sandy" relief event on November 10th, Sutter was asked about his idea of the prequel to SOA he said, "I've had discussions with the network about it, and I think they are open to it. I think there is something really interesting about the origins of the club, and to do a period piece set in the '60s, post-Vietnam could be kind of cool."
Don't get too excited yet because even if it does happen, it probably wouldn't hit TV or even possibly hit production right when SOA ends Season 7. The possibility of having another show by Kurt Sutter though based off of the SOA product that is already a successful and entertaining show excites me.
