The Golden Globes are where the brightest and best from the movie and TV industry get together in a big room, put on some nice clothes and drink a reservoir of champagne.

There are also a couple of awards handed out and this year was no exception, with Breaking Bad and Behind the Candelabra both winning big.

AMC's meth opus scooped the award for Best TV Series, Drama, with Bryan Cranston winning the award for Best Actor in a TV Series, Drama, while Steven Soderbergh's Liberace biopic walked away with Best TV Movie/Miniseries.

The surprise winner of the night was Brooklyn Nine-Nine which beat out competition from Modern Family and Parks and Recreation to reign victorious in the category of Comedy or Musical Series, with its star, Andy Samberg, taking home the award for Best Actor in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy.

Other notable TV winners included the delightfully lovely Amy Poehler for Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy and Robin Wright for Best Actress in a TV Series, Drama.

You can get the full list of winners over at the Golden Globes website.
