DC Comics just made moves to have everyone’s favorite occult aficionado (maybe second favorite to Doctor Strange) return to live action, though not in a way you’d expect. John Constantine will grace the screen again via NBC’s network television in a series pilot that may (or may not) be picked up to run as a full series. Not much is known about the pilot, who will star, or whether it will connect in anyway to CW’s Arrow, which is highly unlikely. David Goyer, of Blade & Man of Steel fame, will write the pilot with The Mentalist’s Daniel Cerone. We will provide more information as it becomes available.

John Constantine was created by the legendary (and crazy as cat shit) Alan Moore, and ran for 300 issues under Vertigo imprint.
