If there's one thing I'm excited to see with 'Rurôni Kenshin: The Great Kyôto Fire Arc', hands down it would be the first and second match between Seta Sōjirō and Himura Kenshin. Lucky for me, in light of what I want, the studio just bestowed us all with the behind-the-scenes images of the fight.
In my last article about Seta Sōjirō, I showed a clip of the episode in which you first come across Shishio Makoto's right hand man, "the boy with no emotions". If you can recall from your die-hard-fan days, Seta Sōjirō is known for his Shukuchi, a skill in movement which is so fast that he disappears and is even able to avoid Kenshin Himura's Kuzu-ryūsen "Nine-headed Dragon Flash". A technique that even our beloved Samurai X cannot even dodge.
With the sequel coming up in less that seven months, I look forward to seeing how director Keishi Ōtomo filmed this particular fight, since most of it happens in the blink of an eye. Not to mention how he'll show Seta Sōjirō's self-made technique, Shuntensatsu "Instant Heaven Kill", a technique of such great speed it's supposed to kill the opponent before their body has even touches the ground.
Which scene can't you wait to see on the big screen? Let me know!
