Quentin Tarantino had another western movie in the works called Hateful Eight, he gave the finished script to a few people and not long it was leaked. This infuriated Tarantino and now we are not going to get Hateful Eight. This is what happened recently, first of all let me say I am not a fan of Tarantino, I actually don't like his movies so this news was not very important to me. However, I do want to talk about his reaction, which I think is being a bit too extreme.
I understand that his property was released without his permission, I also understand that he feels betrayed and that some (or all) of his plot twists got out there. But personally I couldn't get a hand of that script, so not many people have gotten their hands on them, and also if he truly believed in his work so much, if it was something so great why leave it after something like this? He can still make adjustments or even without adjustments one thing is seeing it on a page, another is seeing it on the big screen. I can understand how he feels but I think that his reaction is too much...but take this with a grain of salt, I don't really care for his movies.
