There are so many movies out there, might as well talk about them!

Many of you have played the game or at the very least heard about it. From its early start as a PC game to Naughty Dog's highly rated games. If you weren't aware there is even a comic! (a 6 issue mini series. "A quest for the legendary "Amber Room" launches Nathan Drake on a journey to the center of the earth).

Drake has taken us across the world and taken my adventurous side to a whole new level with its amazing art, the mysteries of the world, gun fighting bad guys and its treasures. (Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2:Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception..Not to mention the new one coming out this year?? Uncharted 4)

  • What better way to enhance it than by making a movie?

Film producer Avi Arad has stated that he is working with a division of Sony to develop the film adaptation of Uncharted. In response to a question posed to Richard Lemarchand, lead game designer of Naughty Dog, on whether he would like to see a film adaptation of Uncharted, he replied "no comment".

This game has the makings of a great movie. but with every good game, you get these writers that come up with a story for the movie and they make it cheesy and predictable....

Since then, Columbia Pictures has confirmed that an Uncharted film is being developed. It is to be written by Joshua Oppenheimer and Thomas Dean Donnelly.

Nathan Fillion has expressed interest in playing Nathan Drake, and started a campaign on Twitter to encourage fans to support him in this endeavor.

Which, in some ways Mr. Castle does look like a pretty decent would be Drake...

it was announced by Doug Belgrad and Matt Tolmach, presidents of Columbia Pictures that David O. Russell (Three Kings, The Fighter) has been set to write and direct Columbia Pictures' Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, an action-adventure based upon the first game in the series. But with David O. Russell dropping

Variety reported that Neil Burger (Limitless, The Illusionist) was stepping in.

The film would be produced by Avi Arad (Spider-Man), Charles Roven (The Dark Knight), and Alex Gartner.

...Well regardless of who ends up directing and or producing, this better be in the works...

With movies like Bourne and the new Bond movies, this adventure game of fortune may be a good change of pace. Especially, since Hollywood is so into their "Epic trilogy" trip. Not to mention we need a new Indiana Jones like character...(yep I put it out there)

They have the makings and the materials to make an amazing series of movies based on the game.

Let's just hope it's not another "Prince of Persia"...

So should it be made into a Movie?
