Horror has been a part of my life since I was 2. I grew up with it. So, I guess you could say horror is part of me.

The movie Megan is Missing is based off of a true story. This movie didn't scare me. It's not even considered a horror film it's considered a Documentary/Thriller... I will say that this movie was so messed up, I had to watch TruTV and come back to it later.

Maybe it was because of the fact that it's based off of a true story. Maybe it's the fact that this kind of thing really does happen. Maybe it's the fact that every poster you see on public building walls that says "Have you seen me" will go through your mind as you watch the movie. It's not considered a horror... But to be able to dig in a persons mind, have the movie connect with that person and make them feel emotionally and physically sick... to me... that's true horror... Because sometimes reality is scarier than zombies, monsters, and demons. If you are a parent of a teenager who you think are doing things online they shouldn't... Have them watch this movie. It may seem fucked up at the time and it make shock them... but it's better to learn through a movie like this than it is through life...
