Ms. Marvel seems to be absorbing the buzz of Marvel news nowadays alongside the new information following The Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron. But what all do we really know about this Marvel superhero? New reports leaked that this powerful female lead will be featured alongside new additions to the Avengers team including Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Iron Patriot, The Vision, and possibly The Falcon, which if all are true would make six new Avengers, and fourteen total (including Maria Hill and Nick Fury).

Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are confirmed to be getting their introduction post-credits of Captain America, The Vision is a creation of Ultron who will undoubtedly be getting his debut in Age of Ultron itself, Iron Patriot has been in this game since the beginning, which leaves Carol Danvers (AKA Ms. Marvel). The source of her powers leads us to believe her origin will have quite a bit more to do with the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy film than we thought.

Carol Danvers was a top-class pilot in the U.S. Airforce (which will surely be changed to SHIELD for the film's sake) and was highly fascinated with the aliens when an alien device merged her DNA with their own, giving her superhuman powers. The fact that Peter Quill of Guardians of the Galaxy is also a pilot of the same time period may hint that his rescue team may be comprised of Carol and her flight crew.

One report even said that Carol will be featured in the film, even just for a quick cameo, possibly even as a post-credits scene, which would match the multitudes of similar reports of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to feature at the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Whatever the case, Marvel has obviously had plans for her for awhile: they even have a completed storyline and script written in storage which they've openly admitted.
