Facility 31 will be the first horror feature from the Bad Blood Films slate.
Due for release 2016, the film follows Rosie Hinton, a Medical officer in the British Army and now a convicted military prisoner, on her final work detail before being released back to her unit. Along with five other detainees they are tasked with cleaning a long deserted military facility but when they arrive it gradually becomes clear that the bunker is not as abandoned as they were lead to believe.
Producer, Mark Kenna, brings a studio quality production Facility 31, from the award-winning writer/director of Special Delivery, David Hawk - a British horror film about a group of Military Prisoners who are tasked with cleaning a remote, disused military bunker. After one of them goes missing and a power surge sends the facility into lockdown, disgraced officer Rosie has to overcome her guilt to face a shadowy enemy from her past that has unleashed a terrifying secret buried in the depths of the bunker that threatens to tear them all apart.
The company have shot a high-end investment trailer (investment pack available on request) highlighting the style and feel of the film and with part-finance secured, are now looking to secure additional investors and distribution before filming commences later this year. Producer Mark Kenna says:
"we've been busy behind the scenes not only building Bad Blood Films, but approaching talent both in front and behind the camera. We've had a fantastic response from crew who have worked on films such as - Inglorious Basterds, Kick-Ass, Blade II & 28 Days Later. With regards cast, we've approached some exciting names in film and will announce once principle photography commences. We're passionate about films, quality of content and creating a sustainable film industry. We understand that a great story is fundamental to any film. We're confident that Facility 31 will bring a new wave of British horror ticking all the boxes for the horror fans, bringing depth to the characters and plot, some great scare and jumpy moments not forgetting plenty of blood! We're blown away with the response we've had within the horror community from fans and professionals alike. We look forward to giving them what they want".
