I'm sure some of you people have heard by now that Stephen King's terrifying clown Pennywise is gonna be making a comeback to the box office. There are reports going around that the script is being written for the big screen.

Before you guys start complaining that they're gonna ruin it and how they shouldn't remake a classic... I wanna inform you that unlike the first television mini-series that aired in 1990, this one will actually follow the book more closely.

The first movie cut out A LOT from the book so it could be shown for TV audiences. If you've never read the book (which was published in 1986), but have seen the movie, I highly suggest you read it. It's more than just a story about a clown/giant spider who kills & eats kids. It's a psychological/supernatural horror story with themes of racism, abuse, and the love of close friends.

Am I excited for this movie? Hell yeah, I am! Do I have some concerns about who they'll actually cast when they announce it? Yes, I admit I do have some concerns.

The reason is they need to find a good strong cast who'll be able to embrace the strengths and weaknesses of the characters from the book. They also need to find someone who can pull off a believable Pennywise like Tim Curry did in the original. Another good reason why this movie should be made is cuz the 1st one is dated, especially w/ the special effects. Hollywood has the technology to be able to make IT's spider form look more realistic and able to show how IT arrived to Derry, Maine in the first place.

So, what do you guys think? You excited about the eventual return of Pennywise the Dancing Clown aka Bob Gray? Let me know your thoughts below.
