Don't be fooled by the title, as it looks like Batman Vs. Superman could include more members of the Justice League than we expected.
We already know that Wonder Woman will be making an appearance in the Man of Steel sequel, but a new casting call could reveal Cyborg might also be making an appearance. According to Latino Review, the producers of Batman Vs. Superman are (or were) looking for a 'young, physically fit, black actor' for a role in the film. Apparently, the part is only a small one, although it's been stated it will reoccur in the DC Cinematic Universe.
Although the sources didn't officially give this role a title, many sites are already speculating that it could be Cyborg. This would make sense considering the casting call description.
Previously, Henry Cavill has stated he would like to see Cyborg in the film, while Easter Eggs in Man of Steel certainly mean his inclusion is feasible. Cavill has previously stated:
What really intrigued me was Dr. Emil Hamilton’s references to S.T.A.R. Labs. Cyborg I think would make a wonderful character, and an incredible bridge between both superhumans and humanity in a different way to Batman. And so I don’t know where he’s going to come in or if he’s going to come in, but that’s one I’m particularly excited about.
Furthermore, Batman vs. Superman reportedly features a football scene which could also be tied into Cyborg's origin as a high school football player.
So who could be potentially playing this role? Well, director Zack Snyder has reportedly met with Michael B. Jordan for the part, which does add credence to rumors it will eventually be a larger role.
Of course, as is often the case with superhero casting 'news', you should take all his information with an unhealthily large pinch of salt.
What do you think though? Should Cyborg also be added to the movie, or is already a little bit too superhero congested? Let us know below.
