Sometimes the internet soars above its foul reputation to become a magical wonderland where dreams can come true.

This week one of those beautiful internet fables unfolded on Twitter between none other than the President of the United States and a certain Tony Stark. The unlikely pair got involved in a touch of cyber-conversation after President Obama announced to the his citizens that he was building his very own Iron Man.

During a speech to his great nation Obama said that;

Basically I'm here to announce that we're building Iron Man. I’m going to blast off in a second. Not really. Maybe. It’s classified

For those of you who are awaiting a sense of humor transplant, the President was obviously joking, but a certain somebody didn't see the funny side...

The Twitter exchange can be viewed below:

Unfortunately, The White House haven't found time in their busy schedule to reply, but I can see why they would be just slightly reluctant. Spilling Tony Stark's Iron Man secrets is probably never a wise move, even if you are the most powerful man in the world!

Do you guys think that Obama was a good sport to make the Iron Man comments in the first place?
