As we await the final story of Katniss Everdeen, who - in Mockingjay - agrees to unify the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the tyrannical Capitol, the third and fourth movies in the Hunger Games franchise are in their final legs of shooting in the Atlanta area. Today, as some more proof of that, we've got our hands on a new set image of Liam Hemsworth's Gale Hawthorne and Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss Everdeen.
Check 'em out:
The twosome and their costars recently returned to Atlanta to continue shooting the last movie from the popular triology. Unfortunately, the last time Lawrence, Hemsworth and the rest of the Mockingjay reunited on set, it was on the heels of the devastating news of Philip Seymour Hoffman's death.
Hoffman's role as Head Gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 was almost complete at the time of his death, except for one final, emotional scene still to be shot with Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss Everdeen.
Despite facing some definite challenges, I'm sure that The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 will still be all kinds of awesome when they arrive in theaters November 21, 2014 and November 20, 2015, respectively. What about you?
